CARE TIPS FOR YOUR SANSEVIERIA PLANT
Hey there, new plant parent! I'm your sansevieria, but you can call me Snake Plant for short. I'm known for being pretty chill, and trust me, taking care of me is a breeze. Here's the lowdown:
Light: I'm not picky! I bask in bright, indirect sunlight, but I can also handle lower light conditions. Just don't stick me in a dark corner, okay?
Water? Nah, not much. Seriously, I'd rather be underwatered than overwatered. Let the soil dry out completely between waterings. Think "thirsty cactus" rather than "thirsty rose." In winter, water even less – I'm practically hibernating!
Temperature: No worries, UK homes are perfect for me. I like things warm, between 55°F and 85°F. Just keep me away from cold drafts and frosty windows (brrr!).
Soil: I like my feet well-drained. Opt for a cactus potting mix or add some perlite to regular potting soil for extra drainage. Soggy roots are my enemy!
Extras: I don't need much fuss. A wipe down with a damp cloth every now and then to keep my leaves dust-free is all the pampering I need. Maybe some fertiliser every six months or so if you're feeling generous, but that's it!
See? Easy as pie! With a little sunshine, occasional watering, and a comfy spot, I'll be a happy addition to your home for years to come. Now, relax, enjoy some greenery, and let's grow together!
